What is Gorilla Glass ?

Gorilla Glass is a brand of chemically strengthened glass developed and manufactured by Corning, now in its sixth generation, designed to be thin, light and damage-resistant. As a brand, Gorilla Glass is unique to Corning, but close equivalents exist, including AGC Inc. Dragontrail and Schott AG Xensation.

A customer came to our shop with his Oppo A77 which has a broken screen. The screen was severely damaged because it did not have a gorilla glass protection. Our technician inspected the phone and completed the replacement of the screen in a jiffy. The customer was happy because he thought he needed to buy a new phone. Luckily it was just an easy fix just by replacing the screen.
